Jabar Smith is the owner of Affordable Solutions. The previous post is absolutely correct. Jabar will promise the world and provide shoddy work. I contracted him to repair a retaining wall. Spent several thousand dollars and have a collapsed retaining wall in my backyard. When originally contracted, Jabar guaranteed me he would stand behind his work. In less than a year the ground behind the wall washed out. When contacted, Jabar said he would fix the problem. Took him 3 months to come and just look at it. Jabar said he would be back out in two weeks to repair; he needed to catch up on a few other jobs. Called Jabar a month later and he said he be out soon. Six months have passed. Jabar won't return calls.

Don't hire or contract this company for work. They promise the world but do shoddy work and won't stand behind anything they say they will do.

Please don't use this company unless you get a contract. The service agreement was for them to landscape my yard. Typical things like lay mulch, trim trees, flowerbeds and put out some sod. First of all, the original crew did not show up on the day they were suppose to come and do my yard. Jabar (the owner) showed up hours later, realized the crew never showed up and started to do the work by himself. It was too much work for one person. The work was half done but he (Jabar- the owner) assured me that he would come back and finish the job. It rained and about 2 -3 days later, there was grass growing in my flowerbeds. I called Jabar again. He stated at that time he would come back and redo the flowerbeds because he had not done everything correctly. I have called him at least 10 times over the last 4 weeks. In the beginning, he answered and told me he was coming to clean up my flowerbeds. Now he won't even answer or return my phone calls. Use them at your own risk! I would recommend you not use them at all.
