I had Pugh masonry rebuild my retaining wall after a large tree smashed through it after Ivan. It was decided to move the entire wall back to the property line, and rebuild the wall to match the house built in 1949. Adam and his team matched the brick, the mortar, dug the foundation, built a cinder block wall, with rebar, filled the cells with cement, and if you didn't know it, you'd just think that wall was there for the last 65 years like the other brick features of the property. Though it was expensive, it is so well done, so done "right", and so perfect, the archeology team and the historic society were both in absolute agreement on the project. The retaining wall on the east side of the house between the Blount House and the Payne Mansion on W. Brainerd St was built by Pugh Masonry in 2006.
