A & K Towing

I would like to start off with saying this company is cheap! My car had radiator problems but was located on the west side of Chicago which they said they didn't have a problem getting it and towing back to Harvey for only $100. They said they were picking it up around 2, I wasn't with my car and they said that wasn't a problem. They got to my car at 3 and stated their truck was having problems. The driver called to inform me and said he was going to grab another truck and return at 7pm when rush hour was over. I called at 7:30 and the driver was MIA, I called the office and the manager said they can't get my car to midmorning, I told him what the driver said and his response was "that sounds like something he would say" WTH!! Unfortunately there wasn't anything I can do but wait. By the next morning I haven't heard anything so I had to call them. It was noon by the time they were able to contact a driver. My car didn't get picked up until 3pm and got to me around 4:30. It was a extreme inconvenience and horrible communication, the only reason I stuck with them and got them the second star is because they were cheap, the distance was about 25 miles. Most places charge $75 to just hook up the car. If time is not factor and money is tight, go for it! Other than that, I'll pass
