These guys came over and showed up late, making me wait on them for an hour and a half. They went into my attic and outside to look at everything and they said I needed a new compressor and that would cost $1200 to replace, and then it would be another day before they could fix that. It was almost a hundred degrees outside. I talked to my brother and he said he would check it out for me and when he did, he found that one of the fuses in my fuse box out by the compressor was blown. He replace that for under $20 at Lowes and my air conditioning worked fine. When I called and told them this and asked for my $79 back, they acted rude to me, saying I didnt know what I was talking about and that my compressor was checked out and was dead and needed replacing. I never had another problem with my air conditioning sense. I saw a sign near my work today that said they were crooks and it was right. I almost spent $1200 and all was wrong was a blown fuse. I never got my $79 back.

I’ve been dealing with this company for two years with nothing but problems, trickery and lies. I’ve had so many problems that I’ve been using space heaters to heat my house for three winters. There’s been crappy work done, tricks pulled on me to sell un-needed junk to me, and lies told about me to anyone who will listen. I was quoted for a 120,000 BTU furnace and they installed a cheaper 100,000 BTU furnace for the same price. I have a furnace they installed a year ago that already has a heat exchanger issue that is blowing carbon monoxide into my house at a rate of 30 parts per million. And now I’m expected to pay $1000 and $1500 for labor to fix this problem that shouldn’t be a problem until the furnace is 5 years old or older. These guys are slick and they will use your lack of knowledge about hvac systems against you as well as try to scare you with different tactics in order to get your money. And they claim to be Christians too. I recommend no one doing business with them, ever.

I saw a sign on the way to work this morning that made me remember I need to put up a review about these guys. They sent some smart alex kids to do the work and after they got thru I smelled attic smell in the house and it got worse over a couple of days. I had to call them back. They said they couldn't smell attic and tried to get me to buy a machine that would tell what kind of problems there was with my furnace. I believe it was $400 or $500. And then some kind of ozone generated thing to put in my duct work to kill the smell for about a $1000. I told them I would think about it. Then I called another company to come out and they found a few places that were leaking air into the system in the attic. They fixed that and everything was good. I think the first people was trying to sell me some things because of that attic smell. Turns out I didn't need any of it. Glad I called the second company. I wouldn't trust south Nashville heat and air after this.
