My husband is a veteran and he normally has a good experience at the VA when he is there for a medical issue.

I am blessed to have such service from this facility they have always been prompt and careful to ensure my needs are met and exceeded. SURE there are times that the wait may be a few minutes longer but its never bad and always communicated to us. Thank you NASHVILLE VA MED CTR

I have never experienced such poor phone service. Every phone call is a test of patience with multiple holds, disconnects and long waits on the line just to leave a msg. I tried months to get a socket made, but due to lack of equipment, equipment failures, ordered parts and missing laptops I could never get a proper fitting socket.

I live in Clarksville, TN but work in Nashville, TN. I retired from the US Navy after 20 years of honorable service 3 years ago and I was advised that I was eligible for all VA benefits. I was at work when I had a sharp pain in my lower back and then I felt excruciating pain in every muscle in that area. I went to the Nashville, VA clinic asking for help. After spending a good 30-45 minutes answering questions related to my family, I was denied service saying between my job at Walmart and my wifes job at the day care center, we made TOO MUCH Money and could not be seen??? OMG, I am in dire need of help,spent a lot of time answering insignificant questions that didn't pertain to the pain I was feeling at the time and then afer about 2 hours there, I get denied service? and then am told that if I wanted to I can "try" to go to the Emergency Room but would have to pay out of pocket expenses for anything done?? I have $2 in my pocket and am a Veteran of the US armed forces.. I should be able to be seen or given something for all the pain I am in. So, in tears I had to take an hour drive to the Emergency Room at Fort Campbell hospital in Clarksville where I know my Tricare insurance will cover me. A shot in an area that I will not mention here and finally some real help. Thanks VA for not helping out a sailor in need. When did help to a retiree and his family, who put his life on the line for his country become dependant on how much I made at Walmart last year?
