Mr Appliance

I called them to fix my exhaust fan over my grill. They never asked me for the make or model. I waited all afternoon for a tech to come out that knew nothing about a Broan fan. I had to reschedule another afternoon and this time 2 techs came out scratching their heads. They told me there were 3 possibilities and someone would call me, which no one did. I called several times asking what was going on & how much the estimate was. They said it would be $900 for a $29 capacitor but they didn't know what one & would have to order a couple. I asked to have the estimate sent to my email so I could review several times & never got it. I waited over a month for the part until I decided to call someone else for a second opinion. Thank God I did because Mr. Appliance misdiagnosed the problem. Angel Appliance said there was a huge cap around the vent which was letting rain in, which shorted the motor & capacitor. He said he could fix all for $500. Mr. Appliance is a rip off and totally clueless. Avoid at all costs!
