Tackett's Wild Game Processing

I have been having Tacketts process my game for years and believe they are one of the best big game meat processors in the Valley. If you want quality meat, I suggest using them. If you just want meat off the bone go somewhere else. Quality processing, cuts and packaging. They refuse to process bad or damaged meat so know that going in. Tackett's. I think the best overall wild game meat processor in the Valley! I love the Vacuum Packed process they use. We have been using them on all of our wild game for a couple of years now and will never go any were else. They truly care about you and your meat. They will even cut steaks and process your meat for how many people you have in your family. That is about as custom as it gets right there. The Vacuum packaging they do is unbelievable, I have had other places in the past just wrap them and in one year the meat that I didn't eat has gone bad because of freezer burn. With the Vacuum pack system, it can be in the freezer for years and years and it will never get freezer burn. All I can say is, if you are looking for a place to take your wild game meat and you want a professional job for the best price around then you have to go to Tackett's.

Wow. What a pleasant experience. I've been to almost all the processors in the valley and Tackett's is not like any of them. First, you notice how clean everything is when you walk in. And the job they did on my elk was awesome. Especially when you consider the nasty place I shot it. Let's just say it wasn't the cleanest elk I had ever taken in for processing. When I got the meat back it seriously looked like something I had bought at the store. Spotless and professionally vacuum packaged. At most of the other places I didn't feel I got my own meat back. Here, you can watch your animal being processed through their viewing window. They were very friendly and were happy to take my animal in at 9 pm on a Sunday (they are open 7 days a week). They have got a customer for life. Highly recommend.
