After completing my training at the University of Pennsylvania in 2007, I worked as an Assistant Professor at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Subsequently, I took the position as Chief of Interventional Radiology and Director of Interventional Oncology at the University of Utah and The Huntsman Cancer Institute. For over a decade I worked with a great team treating and researching primary and metastatic liver cancer as well as Neuroendocrine tumors. At the Huntsman Cancer Institute, I helped establish the Lutathera program for treatment of metastatic neuroendocrine tumors. Now, I am thrilled to bring these same technologies to the outpatient setting. This includes personalized, minimally invasive therapies for liver tumors, directed radiation therapy, chemotherapies, ablative therapies, and immunotherapies tailored specifically for you and your cancer. Why outpatient medicine? Treating patients in an outpatient setting is more comfortable for the patient. It avoids potential exposure to infectious diseases found in hospitals. It also provide a more efficient vehicle for the physician to optimized care to the patient. This leads to better care overall, and decreased cost.
