This appraiser went out to a home to do a VA appraisal. He did not have the electricity or water turned on to do the inspection which is required. He further used comparisons that were foreclosures. The house was built in 2005 in a very desirable neighborhood and he insisted that there was a drainage problem which he could NOT justify with pictures or with signs of water under the house (crawl space). We had a huge downpour the following week after his appraisal and there was maybe a 12 inch (diameter) puddle in the vacinity that he claimed was not draining. When asked about whether he would ammend his remarks... he arrogantly declined. The homes in this neighborhood sell from 180's - 220's (all brick -- approx 1800 - 2300 sq ft) and he comp'd the house in the low 160's. If left to him all houses in Murfreesboro will depreciate to $68 square foot. DO NOT USE THIS GUY!!!!!!
