Northfield Lodge Apartments

I'm on my second month living here and not sure where in the complex the lady who had a horrible experience lived but I've seen none of that. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Apartments are older but was clean when moved in. my neighbors are excellent. The apartment complex is far from "Ghetto"

The only reason I put one star I because this review won't let me put 0. The rent is good but you can find WAY better and get your money's worth. This place is nasty as ever and ghetto. The restrictions don't matter to management or the tenants. I had a problem with the ppl across the hall smoking weed all day long, it was literally 20 ppl coming in and out of that 1 BEDROOM apartment daily. I was 8 months pregnant, the weed smell would travel and I would get really sick to where I couldn't even stand. Think management cared? The new ppl across the hall do the same except they have a pit bull which is against restriction as well. As soon as you step in the hall you smell dog poop. They too have ppl coming in and out if their apartment daily. The guy is such a junkie, he comes over asking for soda, money, DVDs, a rello, a ride. I kid you not he even came over asking did we want or know anyone who wants to buy their 5 month old daughters formula. Mind you the little girl already has trouble eating and had heart problems! He asked if we wanted to buy his food stamps so he could purchase weed! Now with management, my boyfriend and I even the lady who lived above us, went down to complain, weeks later we get a letter saying we can't re-sign our lease because they mixed up the complaints looking like we were complaining on our selves. When you first move in the don't clean anything. The bathroom is the nastiest room of all. Instead of replacing the tubs, they paint over them! The lady above us had problems of mold growing out of her ceiling and warned us for our sons sake whom is now 4 months. Another thing is, they have an exterminator come around from time to time around 8am. He'll knock on your door, but if you don't answer guess what! He has his OWN key to each apartment, he'll open it and walk on in like its his! Sound and smell really travels in these places, we've woken up to our neighbors SCREAMING and the lady above us who loves to set her alarm for times that she's not even home! When my son sleeps is when I sleep so when that thing goes off, we're up for at least 5 hours. Just please save yourself from disaster. I'm black but when I tell you this is the ghetto-est place EVER. Gay guys and their female friends shaking their butts in the middle of the street, look elsewhere. This place is for hood rats!!!

I lived at northfield lodge 6 years ago and it was awesome we loved it and hated to move.... but wheni got married and we were looking for a place in the borough northfield lodge was our first choice! We are back in the same building again and we absolutely love It they have upgraded a few things and the rent actually got cheaper.

I love this place, there are a lot of amenities for the price, plus you can not get a better deal around this part of murfreesboro, The price per square footage, It's the best deal around town. Northfield Lodge has a lot to offer more than meets the eye, like lots of land behind their apartments for the children to play, courtesy officer, planned community activities, Tennis and basketball court, well taken care of property, well kept, plus they are located in an expensive part of town, they are located between Colony House Apartments, and Forest Oaks Condo's, and they are conveniently located near all kinds of grocery stores, video stores, Wal-greens, Taco Bell, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Dairy Queen, Sonic, CiCi's, Little Ceaser's Great Mexican Restaurants, Ect. I love it Here. Do not plan on moving anytime soon..... :)
