Do not ever bring your vehicle here, or let them tow you! I could not understand a word that the tow guy said, and he apparently never gave the owner or mechanic a phone number to reach me. After calling the place for about six weeks after the original tow, without getting an estimate from an actual mechanic or even a call back from anyone, they had the nerve to tell me when I could finally get a ride up there that they had thrown out my paperwork. The owner and the mechanic swore up and down that they tried to contact me AFTER they admitted that they did not ever get my phone number from the tow truck driver. To top it all off, they had the nerve to admit that they had "so much going on they couldn't keep track of it all." I almost told them to hire a secretary if they couldn't keep track of their own business. These people have no idea how to run a business, and they do not care one bit that they lost my business and that of the friend that recommended them to me. DO NOT use these guys! Absolute jerks.

Sold me an alternator last year that didn't last 10 months. Still had trouble getting car to start at the time of their repair until I bought a new battery, (which they said I didn't need) from someone else. According to the wrecker service and garage that picked me up on the side of the road yesterday, Barrett's charged me about double for what a new alternator should cost, and it wasn't a new one. It was, unknown to me, a re-built one. They also kept my car a week and had no concern that after all that expense and time, that the car still had trouble starting. Don't waste your money here. Poor, poor attitude and service.

I would not recommend this garage to anyonr for any reason. They left my vehicle out in front of garage unlocked with keys in it and no one manning the shop. Broke a fuse case and took no responsibility for it.. Did not have change to give me on bill and would not let me take the car because I did not have exact change. On a $367 bill, he would not take $340 until I could get a hundred changed. Extremely bad service and attitude. One place I will never go again and would not recommend to my worst enemy.
