Treatment of Ocular Disease: Drs. Seger and Webb are trained and licensed to diagnose diseases of the eye. We prescribe topical and oral medications for eye infections, inflammation, allergies, glaucoma, dry eyes, and other conditions. We work with top specialists and surgeons in the area to make referrals and co-manage when indicated.
Macular Degeneration
Optical Coherence Tomographer: a.k.a. OCT, is new technology used to create highly detailed cross-sectional images of the cornea, retina and optic nerve. It is effectively "optical ultrasound", using light rays instead of sound waves to image tissue densities. We use this instrument to help diagnose certain conditions like glaucoma, macular edema, and macular degeneration.

Cataracts
Our practice fully participates in the Medicare program. We do not accept assignment of benefits on behalf of each eligible patient. The eye-health examination is a fully covered service under the Medicare program. However, as mandated by Federal law, the refraction (determination of eyeglass prescription) is a non-covered service. Each Medicare patient will be charged for the refraction at the time of service during your visit. There is no longer an eyewear benefit under the Medicare program unless the eyewear need immediately follows cataract surgery. The purchase of frames, lenses, lens options and coatings is the responsibility of each Medicare patient.

It captures more than 80% of your retina in one panoramic image while traditional imaging methods typically only show 15% of your retina at one time. This instrument helps us detect early signs of retinal disease effectively and efficiently, in addition to a complete eye examination.
