Pleasant Street Elementary

this school has been my childrens school for years and i have never had a proble this year. my problem this year is that they have no clue on how to deal with the LICE proble. they blme it on the parents, but it is not all the parents fault. i feel as protecter of our children for 6-7 hours a day for 5 days a week they need to be looking for the tell tale signs of ot only lice but all the other conmunical dieases. I feel the policy needs to be relooked at like in is being done in many different county in the whole entire country. my children hae had to be treated every week for the last 4 months, the school finially sent the truincy officer after they were not in shcool for 1 week. I have 3 GIRLS so it takes me that long to wash everything and spray it all, plus comb through one hilds hair and the other 2 are steadly fighting. I have treated my girls every week for the last 4 months, and you want to know what they said (the nurse) "i only have 5-6 SECONDS to check on each head" you want to know what the principal said she would look into it but that was almost 3 weeks ago and i have no word back.i have called the superintendent 3 times this year alone offering my time and my help to teach parents,on how to take care of the proble, OR BETTER YET THER IS A NEW DEVICE THAT IS AVALIBLE TO SCOOLS AND CLINICS THAT IT WIPES OUT LICE AND THE NITS i THINK THE NEED TO EVEST IN ONE SO THAT OUR CHILDREN ARE NOT SENT HOME EACH DAY INFESTED. THIS IS A VERY TOUCHY SUBJECT AND I AM SORRY IF I HAVE OFFEND ANYONE, BUT SOMETHNG HAS TO BE DONE
