Go to Guitar Center. I wanted to patronize a locally owned business when I bought a new Martin guitar. Guitar Center offered $650 for my old Martin. The owner of Shem Creek Music said he would sell the guitar for me. I heard nothing in 3 weeks. He failed to put it up on their website. After 2 months or more, no sale, no contact from Shem Creek Music, and no web site posting, I posted the guitar on E-Bay for $150 less than a Guitar Center trade. The new Martin had a warped neck. The owner said he would send it back to Martin for repair in September 2015. By February, no contact from Shem Creek. The owner had forgotten to send it back. I asked for my money back.He said he would check the next Monday morning. I heard nothing for a week. I called back and asked the assistant manager. No response for a week. At this point, no luck getting the guitar fixed.So... don't fall into the "buy local" trap I did. Guitar Center is a far better choice.

This place is a complete waste. A 60's burnout runs it. No deals here. Go to Ye Olde Music in Hanahan for a good guitar deal!
Every town should have a business like this one. The staff was personable, knowledgeable, and helpful. This is a great example why small businesses will always be better than mega-stores. I highly recommend this place!
These guys are great! Lots of guitars and ukuleles. I have bought from here many times. Great experience every time.
