Ultrasound
Despite overall good health and a reasonable level of fitness, some people may have “problem areas” of localized fat deposits. These areas can occur due to fluctuating weight, hormones, or heredity. Dr. Harvey uses the state of the art liposuction technique to help improve your body shape and contour. During the ultrasound assisted liposuction, a fluid is injected through a very small incision to melt the unwanted fat. The ultrasound assisted liposuction will give you a smoother, more desirable look.

Botox
Botox cosmetic is an injectable medication used to treat facial wrinkles, which are caused by the action of the underlying muscles of facial expression. Common areas of the face that are treated with Botox include the glabellar region (between the eyebrows, above the nose), forehead, and “crow’s feet” lines (around the eyes).
Brow Lift
An excess of wrinkles in the forehead and a sagging brow can be make some people self-conscious about their appearance. Aging, sun exposure, heredity, and common facial expressions can cause these wrinkles and even some sagging of the brow to occur. If your wrinkles are not going away from non-surgical procedures like Botox, a brow lift may be right for you.
Eyelid Surgery
This procedure raises the brows in order to remove the appearance of forehead wrinkles and frown lines. Incisions are made at the central hairline and/or the lateral hairline, right above the ear. Excess skin will be removed and muscles may be tightened. It is commonly done in conjunction with upper eyelid surgery for optimal results, thus improving the overall appearance of the forehead and the upper eye area. Your doctor will determine the procedure best for you, based on your desires and expected outcomes.
Liposuction
A Brazilian Butt Lift is a specialized fat transfer procedure that provides improved shape and sometimes size to the buttocks without implants. Excess fat is taken from other areas of the body such as the hips, abdomen, or thighs through liposuction. The fat is then injected into the buttocks with strategy and precision to achieve the desired shape.
Breast Augmentation
Breast augmentation is a very common procedure which causes more tightness in the chest than actual pain. The tightness, caused by muscle spasms, can be easily overcome if you follow our post-operative instructions. Patients tend to be out of work for no more than 1 week. Lifting and certain exercise restrictions will be given for 6 weeks. We ask our patients to wear a molded cup sports bra for 6 weeks and no underwire bras for 1 year.
Breast Reduction
Women who have overly large breasts may suffer from unrelieved back or neck pain, painful grooving from bra straps, a loss of self-confidence, and the inability to exercise, among other health problems. A mammoplasty, or breast reduction, can help alleviate these symptoms and give you a breast size more proportionate to your body.
Breast Lift
Dr. Harvey specializes in performing a minimally scarring mastopexy, also known as a LeJour lift. This breast lift will remove the excess skin to lift and tighten the breast, as well as reduce areola size, which commonly become enlarged as the breasts sag. Although the loss of nipple sensitivity is a risk, fortunately, it is less than 1%. If you are also looking to increase the fullness of your breasts, you may consider the placement of implants, also known as an Augmentation Mastopexy.
Rhinoplasty
Being uncomfortable with the appearance of your nose can cause major confidence loss. This is not something you can just cover up. Dr. Harvey understands these concerns and is here to help you achieve a more desirable look. If you feel that your nose is too big, crooked, has a humped appearance, or if you have breathing problems, a rhinoplasty may be right for you. Thigh Lift
Recovery from thigh lift: Most people are out of work for 1-2 weeks and are placed on lifting and exercise restrictions for 6 weeks. You will be placed in an abdominal binder and you will most likely have a very simple drain in place for approximately 3-7 days. A compression garment will need to be worn for 5-6 weeks after the drain is removed.

Abdominoplasty
Unfortunately for most, diet and exercise alone may not give you the flat, well-toned abdomen you are looking for. If you are unhappy with your stomach after a recent weight fluctuation or pregnancy, a tummy tuck may be a great option for you. An abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck, will help remove excess fat, skin, and stretch marks from around the abdominal area. Dr. Harvey may also repair a diastasis, or separation of abdominal muscles, which is common after pregnancy or weight gain. This separation causes the small “pooch” of the lower abdominal area. Dr. Harvey will repair your diastasis and tighten the skin to help give your abdomen a firm and toned appearance.
Nose Surgery
Body Lift
A body lift is most commonly performed for patients who have excess, sagging skin and fat, especially in the abdominal area, buttocks, thighs or arms. Excess skin and fat, caused partly from decreased skin elasticity, can develop from weight fluctuations, genetics, increasing age, sun damage, and pregnancy. A body lift may help you achieve better body contour and a firmer appearance.
Otoplasty
Otoplasty, sometimes called “ear pinning” surgery, is most commonly performed for protruding or prominent ears. In addition to its cosmetic benefits, the procedure can give a real emotional boost to a patient troubled by prominent ears. For children, this procedure is typically performed once the ears have reached full size, usually around 5 years of age or prior to starting school if that is a concern.
Scar Revision
If you have a scar from an injury or a previous surgery that you’re tired of seeing, scar revision treatment could be the answer for you. This is an outpatient procedure that can be completed in a few minutes in the office or in a short time in the operating room depending on the size and location of the scarring. There are a variety of methods that may be used depending on your type of scarring, the physician will explain those details to you during your consultation.
Body Contouring

Cosmetic Surgery
During the consultation, your surgeon will explain the surgical or other procedure, the recovery times involved, where the surgery will be performed, and the costs involved. In some cases, health insurance policies do not cover the costs of cosmetic surgery. You should check your policy to be sure.
Bariatric Surgery
After fellowship training, he joined the University of Rochester’s Division of Plastic Surgery, where he served as staff plastic surgeon for 8-years. While there, he served as Director of the Life After Weight Loss Program, a specialized program dedicated to the surgical care of patients who have lost a significant amount of weight (through bariatric surgery or diet and exercise). During that time, he fostered his other academic passions, including complex reconstruction, for which he has pioneered new surgical techniques for reconstruction of the body. He was selected to serve as Residency Program Director, which helped further his desire to teach young plastic surgeons. As a result, he was awarded the prestigious Joseph Losee Teaching Award for two consecutive years, followed by the Vincent F Reale Mentorship Award the following year.

Skin Cancer
Common treatment for skin cancer is surgery performed in the office using local anesthetic (numbing medicine). The treatment depends on the type and size of the cancer, but typically basal cell, melanomas and squamous skin cancers can be removed.
Acne Treatment
Lesions
Excisional biopsy: The doctor uses a scalpel to take off the entire lesion. This method is used for smaller lesions.
Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are a skin resurfacing technique that may help with uneven skin tone or texture cause by sun damage, age spots, genetics, and hormonal changes. This will help to minimize fine lines and wrinkles. A chemical will be placed on the desired area to penetrate deep into the skin and activate your body’s natural inflammatory response. This will allow the skin to rejuvenate itself and produce more collagen in the area, improving elasticity.
Microdermabrasion
Skin will be cleansed with Obagi Cleanser and steam. Skin will be prepped and microdermabrasion will begin. The diamond tip microdermabrasion wand uses an exfoliating tip and a vacuum to remove the buildup of dead skin cell and debris.
