Jeffrey Farricielli M.D, ABPMR is a graduate of Saba University School of Medicine. He trained in Internal medicine at the University of Florida Shands Hospital and in Physical Medicine as well as Rehabilitation at the University of Texas Southwestern School of Medicine, Parkland Hospital. After graduating from Chiropractic school in Los Angeles California he worked in Italy as a Chiropractor for 4 years. Upon his return to the states in 1993 he created Beverly Hills Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center in Beverly Hills California. The center combined Functional Medicine, Yoga, massage, Pilates, diet, acupuncture, Chiropractic and physical therapy in a unique setting. It became the largest most popular of its kind in the city. This experience has had a profound effect on the way he thinks and practices medicine today. Dr. Farricielli practice specializes in Regenerative Medicine which provides cell-based treatments for common orthopedic injuries and degenerative joint conditions. Stem cell and Platelet Rich plasma treatments are cutting edge technology which allows doctors to move cells from one area of a patient’s body and place them where they are needed to promote healing, mobility, and pain relief. As an Interventional pain Physician Dr. Farricielli has performed over 3000 procedures to the spine and peripheral joints including radio-frequency neurotomy, spinal cord stimulator trials, epidural and facet injections for neck and back pain. He utilizes BOTOX® for neurological conditions such as cervical dystonia, stroke spasticity, facial spasms and chronic migraine. Dr Farricielli is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation He is presently a member of the South Carolina branch of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and member of the American Association of Orthopedic Medicine. He is on staff at Health South Rehabilitation Hospital in North Charleston South Carolina, as well as Grand Strand Regional Medical Center where he is adjunct instructor for the internal medicine residency program.
