Established in 1958, Valley Day School provides a variety of educational programs and related services for children with special learning needs. Its facility occupies an area of more than 10 acres and is located in Morrisville, Pa. The school serves students in kindergarten through grade 12. Its classrooms are staffed with certified special education teachers and teaching assistants. The school s primary and secondary programs are supplemented by industrial arts, physical education, health and social skills training. Its other services include speech, language and occupational therapies. Additionally, Valley Day School offers crisis intervention, functional behavioral assessment and career planning services. Its clinical staff includes counselors, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and therapists.
