Dr. Ross of Rochester, New York, is the recipient of numerous special awards, and joins Deborah from his recently completed cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at Strong Memorial Hospital at the University of Rochester. A 2003 medical school graduate from the University of Guyana School of Medicine, he served a rotational internship and as house officer in the Department of Surgery at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Barbados, followed by a general surgery internship and residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York. Board certified in General Surgery, Dr. Ross has had numerous publications in The American Journal of Surgery, Surgical Endoscopy, The Annuals of Thoracic Surgery, and Journal of the American College of Surgeons, among others.
