Highland East Junior High School serves more than 900 students and has over 80 employees. It offers classes from grades nine through 12 in various subjects, including English, math, reading, social studies, science, physical education, language arts and special education. It also offers various sports programs, such as basketball, football, track and field, golf, baseball, softball, volleyball, swimming and cross country. The school also offers various activities that include science club, government club, technology student association, writing club, Special Olympics, chorus, band and spirit club. The school also has online media center, library, computer lab and cafeteria. Highland East Junior High School is located in Moore, Okla., and is operated by the Moore Public Schools.
