Record Jungle

Been to this store at least 4-5 times now. On my first visit I thought it was ehhh. That's the mistake a lot of people make, including myself. Sometimes inventory is just average at your local used record stores in and around L.A.



I'm glad I learned my lesson not to judge a record store on my first visit. I've been some gems at very good prices at Record Jungle. For example David Bowie / Low and Ziggy Stardust for 9.99 each (in VG+ condition); Neil Young / On the Beach & Time Fades Away (in VG+ condition) each for less than $14 bucks. If you check these on Discogs they are selling for 2-3 times as much.



Unlike most of the other stores don't ignore the bottom shelf. You'll find some some good records there as well.



The only stores I visit now are:

- Record Jungle

- Mono Records

- Atomic Records

- Gimme Gimme Records



All of the others stores in from Silverlake to Highland Park to Hollywood are way more expensive than these 4 stores.
