Beautiful Weddings Bridal & Evening Wear

Everything was pretty much great till I paid...

My initial experience with the staff was awesome, they were extremely helpful and really listened to want I wanted for a wedding dress, not to mention that they did try to stay in my budget. However, as soon as I purchased my dress, things went immediately down hill from there. Just to name a few things...my dress alterations were not done when I was told they were going to be done, alterations to a rented fur stole were never done, and the owner actually spoke poorly of previous brides right to my face (I actually think it was another bride who ranked the shop). My biggest complaint was that when my husband picked up my dress for me (no he didn't see it, it was in the bag) he asked if they would put the dress in his car for him, so he didn't wrinkle or mess anything up and they obliged. Fast forward...when I received the dress it was in a pile in the bottom of the dress bag, wrinkled with a broken hanger. I previously asked them if I should provide a sturdy hanger and they told me that they would provide an appropriate hanger. Instead they used a cheap plastic hanger. Then my hem line was crooked and to top it off there was a rip in the lace from the hem alteration and there was a hole in my hemline as well, about two fingers wide. Oh and the underneath layer was longer than the top layer in different parts. I was beyond upset about the dress, so I called the store, which didn't call me back, so I emailed them and sent pictures of the dress and all of the problems. Their basic reply was that they went out of their way to take the dress to my husband's car and that he must have done something to the dress between the time when it left their store and arriving to me...WHAT!?! They also said, "The little spot where the lace is slightly longer underneath just needs to be trimmed. It was a small spot that must have been overlooked." There were actually a handful of places that were "overlooked" and I needed to take scissors to my wedding dress due to their poor alteration work...not to mention that I paid $195 for alterations. Unbelievable. I then had to hire another seamstress to fix all of the errors from the alterations that were made from the Beautiful Weddings shop. I had to do this the day before my wedding day, such a hassle. They didn't take any responsibility for anything that went wrong and just blamed everything on my husband. If I would have felt like they cared even a little bit, that would have made a world of difference, but instead of being helpful on a bride's big day, they made things more difficult and stressful. Customer service is not their strong point, I will not be recommending this store to any of my friends who are engaged or anyone else who is looking for a bridal shop.

Superb customer service. This is a staff whom listen to your vision and will guide you with attention to those special details which make all the difference in setting the proper tone for your wedding just as you would so wish it. The owner is a true couture seamstress/dressmaker whom is calm and composed under pressure and has the ability to bring your dream dress into fruition. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone desirous of their dream wedding and or its attire.
