Beckmann Violin Shop

I went looking for a violin store (i'm new to playing) and found a gem. though the store is small and up a flight of stairs i was surprised how much me and my kids enjoyed it. The clerk was nice and helpfull and didn't just try to sell me something. I got a wonderful set of strings for a decent price and found where i will get my next violin. When i told him of my bow problem he lent me 2 bows that were top of the line to use for a week so i would be happy with my purchase.He was very knowlegeable in helping me learn what and why certain bows are beter. I do wish there were more selection ex: books and such. At least they are going for quality and not quality! The store has violin makers right there which just added to the likeability. My son was very curious and he treated him and kids with respect. If you want a wonderfull violin, bow or strings this is the place to invest your money in!!!
