Lake Country School is an independent educational institution that is located in Minneapolis. Founded in 1976, it provides educational programs to more than 300 children. It is recognized by the Association Montessori Internationale and is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of Central States. The school is a member of the Minnesota Association of Independent Schools. It has several facilities and offers services through its children s house and elementary and junior high schools. It involves students in practical life activities that include several routine activities, such as carrying objects, pouring liquids, preparing food, gardening, fastening clothes, washing dishes and cloths, and polishing shoes and furniture. Additionally, it provides a variety of sports activities, including track and field.
