General Info

I have been practicing dentistry at Park Dental since 1989. I am fortunate to work with a team dedicated to quality patient care. I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry, and I particularly enjoy interacting with my patients and getting to know them personally. Outside of the office, I enjoy gardening, golfing, walking, and doing pilates. My husband and I spend much of our free time watching our two children play high school and college sports.

Dental Examination
Routine dental exams are an essential part of maintaining your oral health. Even if your last appointment was cavity-free, you don't want to get into the habit of skipping an appointment. Oral problems can develop quickly and can lead to serious health problems if left undetected even for short periods of time. For most patients, we recommend a dental exam every six months. The frequency of your exams may vary based on your personalized treatment plan.
X-rays
Evaluating your dental health requires a complete look at your teeth, gums and mouth. While our dentists and staff are experts at oral health, not all problems are visible during your regular checkup. Thanks to modern technology, dental X-rays (radiographs) can help us detect oral problems that are hard to see or below the surface.

Teeth Cleaning
Professional dental cleanings are an essential part of your overall dental health. They're also the best way to keep your teeth looking and feeling their best. By seeing your dentist for a cleaning every six months, you can help prevent cavities and gum disease. Regular cleanings also reinforce good oral habits that will promote lifelong dental health.
Dental Sealants
Protecting your teeth from decay is an important preventive measure to promote lifelong dental health. Molars and other chewing surfaces are especially vulnerable to decay, particularly in children who are often less effective at cleaning their own teeth and more susceptible to tooth decay. To help protect these teeth and prevent tooth decay and cavities, we often recommend dental sealants.

Tooth Extractions
We make every effort to help ensure your comfort during and after a tooth extraction through appropriate use of anesthetics and pain medications. Depending on the situation and your oral history, teeth can be removed simply or surgically. If the tooth is visible, our dentists will perform a simple extraction which involves removing the tooth after applying a pain reduction medication. If the tooth is broken down or not exposed, we perform a surgical extraction by making an incision into the gum or dividing the tooth.
