Miller Mobile Home Court

We rented a trailer for a year while we were building our home. We wanted to stay close to the build site. I also lived in a trailer as a child, so had good memories, so was fine with staying in trailer during process. HOWEVER...
The trailer was very aged and not in good condition. We found that you couldn't blow dry your hair and have other electronics on with out tripping a breaker. Personally we made small improvement to the property to make it more functional. We were also required to mow our lot and keep our lot clean. However other lots that owned their homes were allowed to have free range and not follow the same rules.
The bathroom toilet leaked and only found out when the bedroom carpet was soaked. Landlord fixed toilet but left wet carpet. We pulled carpet back and there was mold. Since we are disaster specialist, we properly took care of the issue. There were mice issues in 3 locations and landlord was notified. My husband had to place "decon" underneath trailer. Landlord didn't even provide that service.
Also during the summer months when it was 100 degrees, the property heating cooling unit went out. We notified the landlord and nothing was done for a whole day. It was cooler outside. There was no communication from the landlord but a note on the door that someone would be by to look at it. At 11pm at night my husband went to town and purchased a window unit so we could stay in one room with my infant grandson. I had to send my children to their grandparents because it was unsafe. We had so many health and wellfair issues. The unit was never repaired while lived there and thank goodness we moved out the next month.
If you rent a lot from this location, you are probably fine BUT, this was the worse experience I have had with a landlord and would NOT recommend renting a trailer from here EVER!
