Savers Thrift Stores

I would like to let everyone know that this company is not a good company



to work for. I recently worked at the Savers in Midvale, Utah and was



treated very poorly. I recently found out my liver was failing and began to



get sick and was not able to work all of my shifts. I obtained a doctors note



that only excused me for the day that i went to the doctor. I would come to



work almost everyday and there were some days that I needed to go home



early cause I would get very sick due to my liver problems and even though



my health insurance was not valid yet they insisted that I get another



doctors note even though it would cost me about $1000 dollars for the ER



to see me in order to get a note which was very unnecesary since myself



and the managers already knew what was causing me to be sick. I have



never been treated so poorly by a company in my entire life. when your



doing what a manager has asked you to do another manager would come



along and ask you to do it differently than the first manager haad asked



telling you that their way was wrong and this would happen between 5 to 6



managers. The managers are not on the same page and this company is



very poorly run. I was terminated due to a disagreement between a



manager from another store because he would tell me to do things



differently than what I had been told from one of the managers at the



Midvale Utah store. I was terminated 2 days after my health insurance was



valid that I was going to use get treatment for my liver. They took the



money out of my check for the insurance and I was told It wasnt valid even



though I had paid for it. I hope people will consider this before shopping or



working for this poorly run company.
