We went here for dinner one night since we live right around the corner. The blonde teenager-ish hostess rolled her eyes when she had to stop texting to seat us. It took no less than 15 minutes for someone to come to our table to get us drinks. Since we had plenty of time to sit around and chat, I noticed that this restaurant has THE most disgustingly dirty carpet I have ever seen. It wouldn't be nearly as horrifying if you couldn't see around the edges what color it was actually supposed to be. There were a ton of flies in the restaurant which made eating our meals very unappealing having to swat bugs away from it. I couldn't blame them for trying, the food was actually delicious. I had the salmon and I can't remember what my husband got, but he said it was very good. It took over 30 minutes for it to come out though, and it was a Thursday night, so it really wasn't busy in there. As good as the food was, we won't be back because the rest of our experience was pretty crappy overall. Plus around 8pm all of the retired men get off the golf course and start getting loud and hanging all over each other like a bunch of teenage lovers. The floor by the bar was sticky and almost just as gross as the carpets. But not quite.
On Sunday, February 19, 2017, at approximately 10:15 am, my family and our friends arrived at Broadway Diner. We were seated together and our orders promptly taken. Drinks were promptly served to our friends but we had to request ours. Our friends were served 30 - 45 minutes later, but even after an hour and half, my family hadn't been served. We left after two waitresses served the family of eight that had been seated approximately 30 minutes after us. That doesn’t include the fact that they had already been served appetizers.
Foods ok, just every time I go there they burn something
