114 Used Car Superstore

I came into the 114 Used Car Superstore based on a posting I saw online for a Mazda. The car was at a good price and the CarFax report claimed that it was in good shape. When I came in, the car was in horrible condition, with the front wheels driving very shaky. I continued along with the buying process since the dealer insisted that it was a minor repair and that they could fix it before I drive it off the lot. That was a big mistake.

When I went forward with process, it turns out that they "accidentally" marked the price $1,000 lower than it actually was, and that they would need to bump it up. At that point I decided to withdraw from the transaction. Then they called me back multiple times saying that they would sell it at the original price since it was their mistake. I still decided not to go for the car since I was very skeptical of the way they do business.

At this point, I have been fighting to get my deposit back, which has been a long process of over a month. I even went to the store in-person, but the dealer stated that the check was possibly already sent to my address (it never was).

The most ironic part of all of this is that the car is still in the lot. Clearly the car is not as "in-demand" as they claimed it was!

Long story short is that I would NOT go to this dealer again. Even if the prices of the cars seem tempting, it is not worth the extra hassle and headache of the buying experience. I would recommend staying FAR AWAY from Dennis Cassidy & Anthony Gillete and working with someone with more honesty and integrity.

I bought a car here in October. I have been through hell and back with this place. The car STILL hasn't passed inspection, 4 months later!!! I have brought the car back and forth countless times and there was always an excuse. I've missed work, class, and doctors appointments countless times because of this. On Jan 26th the car was in an accident and totaled because of the items the dealer did NOT fix. I wound up in the hospital and am filing a lawsuit with an attorney currently. If you're looking for a safe, reliable car I recommend looking elsewhere and NOT this dealership.
