Located between the two historic cities of Staunton and Lexington and at the base of Little North Mountain, 7 acres of estate grown grapes provide at true sense of Shenandoah Valley's terroir. Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Merlot, and Petit Verdot are grown at an elevation of 2100 feet. Above Ground Winery is dedicated to delivering unpretentious wines and excellent hospitality. Our current offerings are: Chardonnay (stainless steel) Dividing Ridge White (apple wine) Karma (Cabernet Franc/Merlot blend) Wild River Red (elderberry wine) Dividing Ridge Red (raspberry wine) Future release: Dividing Ridge Blue (plum wine) Tasting Fee: $10 Wine by the glass: $8 We are a 21+ venue.
