Showed up late, couldn't fix the air conditioning but still charged me $160 for doing nothing. I wouldn't recommend this company, stay away from Ramon Lopez

These people installed our Trane A/C unit 5 years ago and now it is not cooling. I called the guy who installed it for us and he sent two of his assistants to work on the outside unit while I was at work. They called to advise they were there so i could explain the issue and they left within 20 minutes never said what the issue was or what my options were, just that i should speak to the main guy the following day for the cost. I figured that due to the informality this was a small simple job with no issues, next day I get a bill for $205.00 and two weeks later the A/C stopped cooling again, all they did was put Freon and claimed there were no visible leaks, however no guarantee and he said if I wanted him to locate the origin of the leak it would run about $500 at least. This is something they could have said to me before charging me $200 for a job that lasted two weeks and had no guarantee. We called another company for a 2nd opinion and this other guy spotted the issue in the outer unit coil. Shame on West-Dade A/C they should have seen this before hand! When we called the main point of contact to question their lack of attention to our issue he got upset and said he refuses to give us any further service. If you get service from this gentleman please make sure he tells you what to expect before he sends you a bill for a job that should not have been done.
