He received his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami. Dr. Gatonye is a member of the American Medical Association and is board certified in Internal Medicine.He is dedicated to comprehensive care and believes in making sure that every patient has the best possible outcomes. Dr. Gatonye was raised in Kenya, where he was an amateur swimmer and soccer player. In his free time, he is a devoted world traveler and has visited all but one continent. He also enjoys reading and current affairs. He is fluent in Swahili and proficient in French.
