- Brian J. Katz, M.D., is a Board Certified Dermatologist practicing in Miami Beach. His interests include all facets of General Dermatology for both adult and pediatric patients and he performs a wide variety of cosmetic/aesthetic services. Dr. Katzs expertise includes the early diagnosis of skin cancers especially atypical moles and melanoma utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic techniques including dermoscopy and mole monitoring.Dr. Katz completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan earning a Bachelor of Science Degree with High Distinction. Additionally, he earned class honors, made the Deans List, and received the James B. Angell Scholar Award. Subsequently, he went on to attend Tel Aviv University, Sackler School of Medicine where he received his medical degree. He then completed his Residency in Dermatology in New Jersey at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where he was selected to be Chief Resident.Dr. Katz has co-authored numerous academic papers and has contributed to several academic textbooks and publications. He has also lectured to professional state and national organizations on the early diagnosis of melanoma and other cancers of the skin. Thanks to Dr. Brian Katz and his staff, I live a happy healthy life with regular visits to his office. I have many family and friends that are also are under his care.
