Cerione's Italian Cafe

Read the title it says it ALL. I am truly amazed that this wonderful establishment opened in my neighborhood. If you walk by Ceriones and don't go in and eat SOMETHING you have missed out on one of Miami's newest treasures. Great service in this small cafe but nothing can top the absolutely premium dining experience. I am not kidding you will yell out the title of this review as soon as you take your first bite. I promise you will not be disappointed.

I read a review by another user and was enticed to see what the fuss was all about. I was not disappointed, a wonderful wine selection, outstanding service and delectable food. I have since been back on a number of occasions and have tried a variety of the both lunch and dinner specials. Beautiful presentation and out of this world flavor. These folks truly love what they are doing and it shows in every detail of the dining experience. A truly great treasure in North Miami Beach.

I always here people talking about their "hidden treasure" or "unbelievable find", for me THIS IS IT!!! I stayed accross the street at the Deauville Hotel, walked in during lunch and was greeted by a wonderful staff at this small Italian cafe. I had the daily lunch special, a super fresh grilled mahi sandwich with an amazing lemon caper mayonaise. My experience was so good that I ate at Ceriones lunch and dinner for the rest of my trip (4 days). Each new item on the menu that I tried trumped the last and the wine list was exceptional for such a small restaurant. The service was equally exceptional. This is my new "go to" place when I am in Miami. Get down to North Miami beach and try this place out.

I stayed at the Deauville for a weekend and kept trying to find a decent place to eat. At last I walked into this spectacular Italian Cafe and was greeted by great service and a fantastic glass of wine. I went with my gut instinct and ordered a seafood pasta. The presentation was lovely and I have never tasted anything so delectable! Don't be fooled by the size or the cafe-style atmosphere. Cerione's was worth my entire weekend stay. And DEFINITELY don't leave without tasting their creamy, homemade tiramisu with a cappucino. You will not be dissapointed.

If I could give more than five stars I would! This place is an extremely rare find. When it comes to the food, the title says it all...Totally Awesome. The menu offers several Italian dishes in each respective category including chicken, fish, veal and of course pasta! I started off with the house salad.....crisp lettuce, sliced onion and juicy red tomato, topped with croutons and a very tasty home-made dressing. For the main course I went with the tried and true lasagna. The portion was as big as the table and I wondered if I would ever make it to the last bite of the wonderful creation.



The place boasts a cozy atmosphere with A+ service and an outstanding wine list. If you find you have room for dessert...go with the Tiramisu...trust me you will not be dissapointed!
