Delphinium Jewelry and Accessories

I'm not sure who was in the store when the other reviewer was in there, but the owner does have a dog. She is very nice about telling you about the dog. I can't imagine her ever being rude. I love this store. She has the most gorgeous bags, candles, hair accessories and jewelry. Some of the jewelry.she makes herself. All very shabby chic and trendy. This store is a true gem. Everytime you go in there you never know what beautiful things will be in there.

Today my friend and I went to Delphinium after eating at the New Orleans style restaurant across the street. We went in with intentions of purchasing some of the candles that we had heard so much about. Well before we could reach the other side of the store, we were rudely told by the young lady working at the store, and that we should leave if we're afraid of dogs because the mangy looking mutt she in the store with her was NOT on a leash.

Stunned by this extremely poor customer service we quickly exited the store without seeing any of the candles. I don't think I could give this store a second chance simply because in the midst of a global financial crisis, a business that clearly wasn't getting any business is still so willing to dismiss potential buyers without a second thought.....so sad.
