Chembio Diagnostic develops, manufactures, licenses and markets proprietary rapid diagnostic tests for the prevention and treatment of infections diseases and other conditions. It conducts tests for the detection of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and other human and veterinary diseases through government and donor-funded programs. The company is comprised of more than 100 employees. Chembio Diagnostic is licensed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Department of Agriculture, as well as certified by the International Organization for Standardization. It offers STAT-PAK products for the treatment of chagas and sickle cell diseases. The company s HIV assays have been incorporated into the World Health Organization, Bulk Procurement Scheme and U.S. Agency for International Development.
