        Dr. Luis Rojas, a South Texas native, received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Chemistry with honors from Texas State University â?? San Marcos. He then spent a year as a teaching assistant for Anatomy and Physiology at the University of Texas â?? Pan American. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Houston College of Optometry in 2015, where he received four Letters of Excellence for clinical performance and the Avalon Excellence Eyewear Award for outstanding optics and dispensary skills. Additionally, he was elected to treat and manage patients with advanced ocular surface disease at the UEI Dry Eye Center, earning the Dry Eye Center Excellence Award.
