Dear readers,I have worn glasses for approximately twenty years, that being said I have been a patron of various optometrists and lens stores. I visited the optometrist at Crystal Clear in February of 2015 for a vision exam as a walk-in. I was seen in a timely manner, but the doctor was a short with me in way that made me feel that he wanted to hurry up and get me out of his office ,even though there was no one else in the lobby waiting to be seen. The price for a contact lens and glasses exam without insurance was $85.00 with a one month trial pair of contact lenses which I found to be satisfactory. I returned to Crystal Clear in March 2015 with insurance to purchase a pair of glasses and had a horrible experience. I walked into the optometrist's office and asked if I could please have my prescription sent to their frames store (which is connected and part of the same business) and the lady snapped at me and asked me why I didn't just bring the one that they had given me on visit, the month before. After arguing with me she reluctantly sent it over 15 minutes later. Once I picked out two frames that I was interested in I sat down with my husband and began trying them on, in effort to choose the one that suited me best. As I wear glasses everyday this is a big deal and I like to feel comfortable during this process. The woman who "helped" me was so rude and began making personal attacks at me in an effort to hurry me up in choosing a pair. Then she went as far as to accuse me of stealing a pair of Raybans and asked her coworker to check the cameras. The coworker informed the woman that they had already been sold and that was why they were missing. The lady then preceded to check the cameras and then once she had seen that they had indeed been sold, she didn't apologize but continued to be rude. These people are unprofessional and do not deserve anyone's hard-earned money.I will not return and I hope management reads this and improves their customer service.

I had my eyes done here. Walking in I was immediately impressed with their welcome! Friendly staff, clean facility. Their Drs were very patient with all my questions. Highly recommend this place for your LASIK needs. In fact, three of my friends have since had their eyes done here too.

Yes the receptionist is a pain, they claim they are familiar with main insurances except blue cross blue shield that heals me back for several days
The doctor is excellent and I have been seeing him for years, but he needs to get rid of that receptionist that has been there for years. She has always been curt with all her responses and anytime I have asked her a question (that front office staff should be able to adequately answer)--that her been her general attitude. I'm sure that Dr. Ramirez is totally unaware of her attitude because when he is at the front handing or getting patient charts, her attitude is completely different. I've also have witnessed her be rude to other patients from the waiting room. I plan to go in about a month for a copy of my prescription and I'm willing to re-review that visit. It would be great if others who have been there can also have some input and share positive or unpleasant experiences they've had with any of the staff.

I was willing to give them my business purchase the earsocks. Definately will not think of them when it comes time to replace my prescription wear.

I have been dealing with the manager, asst. manager and the front desk people who have spoken to the eye doctor who can not help me. Yet, they did ask me to go in again and have another eye exam done because I am experiencing headaches when reading for periods of time online. Simple paperwork that the university is requiring them to fill out and no one cares to help me avoid my headaches. Do you think these people are really going to care about your eyes and the condition they are in? I think not!!! I do not recommend them at all for your eye needs and remember if you need anything else they will not be there for you either. Good luck if you decide to waste your money on them.
I have had the misfortune of visiting this office.I was forced due to scheduling and urgent need of a new prescription.I asked for an appointment and the clerk let me know that their business specialized in walk-ins.I was told the current wait was 2 hours.After filling out all the necessary forms and providing my insurance details;I was invited to wait in the mall and I would be called to my cell phone when ready.The doctor himself was quite good and very helpful.Before I received my new contacts I was told that I had to pay for the visit.I asked at the onset of the visit if my insurance covered the visit 100% and was told it was.Now when I am blind to the world they want me to pay over $100.Later when I needed a new set of contacts I go to a local retailer to find out that the prescription I was given was not filled out completely.When I called the office they admitted to the mistake.I asked them to fax the corrected document. "we close in 4 minutes sir" so now I'm stuck.
