Great Haircut Every Time. From the monent I walk in the door , I knew this is a good place .Great Haircut Every Time. I've been coming here for a while now to get my haircut and highlight. While It's a little on the expensive side the haircut is worth it. And my color is amazing .Not too many places likeSynergy Salon,they take time to make sure I am relax, pamper and satisfy with my services.The owner of this salon also had a posted policy"Satisfaction Guaranteed or your money back" at their front desk. I am comfortable that they are confident in their works.

Quy gives me an amazing hair cut..On my quest to replace my move away hairstylist after 10 year ago of trusting my hair in her hands . I had been from one hairstylist to another for so long , i don't remember when was the last time i use any of their hair service twice . I had very thick hair, hair that enough for at least 3 good head.and , upon stumbling on Synergy Salon, Quy gives me the the hair cut i had longing for .Her other staff also gave me such a wonderful head and hand massage . I felt so pamper , happy with my hair cut and this will be my home from now on. thank you Quy and Emily
I saw a friend at church had a beautiful haircut. I asked where she went. She told me about Synergy Salon and her stylist Quy. She was so excited about her her cut and loved Quy's approach to hair . She said Quy was 'passionate". She provided suggestions which was right on target and literally walked me thru step by step how to get the most out of this hair cut. She gives me full attention and makes me feel like a million dollars babe when I walk out. I wouldn't dream of going any where else .Love the cut and the salon. It was a great experience .Quy is the best!

We' re driving by Synergy Salon and couldn't help to notice the nice window decoration and decided to come in to pick up some Aveda stress fix lotion as well as getting a style for my hair. I ended up getting a hair cut as well. I LOVE the scalp massage, the haircut and style we got. The shop is very well kept and I love my stylist.
It’s always a pleasure to go to Synergy Salon.There is always care that I will be comfortable.My hair stylist is amazing .I always get best color and cut every single time.I also love the extra, like an aromatherapy towel over your eyes when she shampoo a warm steam towel under your neck and an amazing scalp massage.
Incredible salon and I feel like I am at a Spa everytime I come here. Quy and I discuss my hair and what color in natural light while I drink a cup of tea. The smallest detail is the most important to her and my hair it always incredible. I am the most important person to Quy when I am in her chair and the heating pad or hand massage while I am getting my hair done makes it a very calming day for me
I normally go to a cheap and quick haircut place, but I decided to invest a bit more in my haircut for hopefully a better result. I researched hair salons and looked at reviews and decided to go the Synergy Salon. I honestly have NO complaints. When I called to make an appointment, the owner was super nice. When I showed up for my appointment, I was greeted right away and shown around the salon. The owner asked me plenty of questions to get my input about what kind of haircut I wanted and what kind of style I was interested in. I was a bit indecisive, so she pulled up hair examples online and we discussed what I liked and didn't like about them before deciding on how to proceed. The haircut far EXCEEDED any of my expectations. I was super happy about the haircut and the entire experience and I have already scheduled a follow-up appointment for my next haircut. I would highly suggest them for any hair needs you might have!
My wife and I visit Matthews area last month and we need hair cut, we dropped by Synergy Salon. Quy is an excellent skilled stylist dedicated to her profession and to her customers. The place made you feel relax and comfortable. Highly recommended Quy and Synergy Salon.
While I'm sure this salon did in fact earn the best salon in Matthews review at one time, that is not where it stands today!
This was undoubtedly the worst salon experience I've had in 40 years. First of all they advertise that they have three levels of stylists. On the phone the owner said that her senior stylists were not available, so she would give me a master stylist for a senior stylist price. Upon arrival I quickly figured out that she was the ONLY stylist in the entire facility. There was no one working the front desk. The owner was doing that as well. She had a young man who appeared to be fresh out of school helping. But he clearly was not qualified to cut and style. there was absolutely no energy in the entire place, and this owner was taking care of three clients simultaneously. Once the haircut was done, and I was preparing to pay, the owner charged me more than the website had indicated. She charged me for a long hair haircut. But I have short hair. How do you own a salon for 5+ years and not know your own pricing? I truly believe that she was trying to charge me more thinking that I wouldn't notice.
I am a professional corporate trainer for a living and one of the topics that I train on is customer service. This was by far one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. The lady was nice enough, but I think she was manipulative.
Once she learned that I used to own a hair salon, she asked me if I could send any stylist her way. There is no doubt in my mind why she does not have any stylists. She does not know how to run that size of a salon.
This place is expensive and not worth a penny. They do not know to color your hair and if you come back to redo it, you get lesser of a service. When I came back they gave me a robe that had been worn by so many other people. It had all kinds of stains and different colored hair stuck to it. I felt disgusted knowing I had worn it. They pushed me aside literally when a regular customer came and put her in a nice robe before I got their attention again. They do not tell you the breakdown of the prices for services either. Overall, I recommend everyone to read all the reviews posted on Yelp before booking your time here, which I failed to do.

I could never find a place that I was happy with and that consistently cut my hair just right. I would always be unhappy and my wife would say 'you need to find a better place, your hair looks terrible.' Well, after I started going to Quy at Synergy Salon she doesn't say that anymore. She also does a great job of also advising me about how to style it and care for it on a day to day basis. Thanks, Quy!

My 16 year old daughter and I both love Quy, Master Designer. We are both very picky and have been to many salons and many stylists. Quy is amazingly talented. We simply do not trust anyone else with our hair. If you are looking to have a superior cut or just a trim, we highly recommend you ask for her (pronounced Qwee). She also has alot of great hair products, she does not try to sell you a bunch of junk you don't need, just a product or two that will polish your look. She pays great attention to detail. We are so very pleased with the relaxed atmosphere and the superior service. I never write reviews, but she is so fabulous I just had to open a citysearch account and let everyone know about this salon and about Quy.

I went in today for a Brazilian and let me tell you that I was very nervous as this was my first time. Gina did a great job explaining the process and not making any false promises. She also gave me tips on my hair style and color. The process was a bit lengthy but it went by fast and it was fun chatting with Gina. Everyone was very nice. I love the outcome so far but i will not know the end result until next week when I go back for my follow-up. Yes you have a follow-up first wash and style. Who offers that? Synergy that's who! It is pricey (regardless) but I am hoping it is well worth the extra pampering I treated myself too. It smelled like chocolate, no fumes and didn't irritate me at all. I definitely made some new friends today! Thank u Gina!

I found Synergy Salon after having enough of my rude stylist in Monroe. The experience was wonderful from the moment I walked in. Quy, the Master Stylist gives a great consultation so you can be confident and know what the finished product will be. then you get a wonderful massage of your head and neck. She uses Redkin Color and Euphoria Haircare and Styling Products. You will always leave Synergy Salon feeling great about how you look!

I have been coming to the salon for many years. I have always been thrilled with the cut and color when I have left. Today, I was joined by my daughter. She too, had a cut and color and could not stop looking at herself and grinning. Synergy has a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere and I, now we, always leave extremely satisfied! Pay attention to the poor reviews on here, as I chose to ignore the low points and now will spend 6 mo to 1 yr. growing out my hair. Also have to try to find someone to change/repair color.
Also....this is the first and only time I have felt strongly enough to post anything on City Search, so others avoid the problems I had.
...Salon was totally void of clients when I first came in...if it was so good, why so empty?
...When someone does come in, there are no other stylists so there you sit...
...Hair was totally dry before blow out was attempted...which means that is how my hair is going to ""set"", Another clue that things were not going to turn out well.
...Since she is attending any walk ins, she had to have totally forgot that I explicitly directed her NOT to layer the bottom of my hair....which is exactly what she did!
...Pushes product....even stuff she didn't use on your hair! Being the trusting individual I am, fell for it, and will never do that again.
...I trusted her to pick color...Don't! I told her it looked purple on the sample swatch, but she didn't think so, In the salon it didn't look bad, but once out in natural light/home the purple shows. I am 57 yrs old...just wanted to color my grey, not look like Barney! Should have just gotten a box of Ms. Clairol and saved $100 bucks.
...Too expensive...guess I can donate product to a homeless shelter.
...Anyway, nice LOOKING salon, (all the walk ins seemed happy) but will not be going back: doesn't cut as directed, no staff, poor color choice, over priced, pushed product.
