Don't waste your money unless you want blond hair facial. My husband asked me why I had blond long hair on me, why my face was red & scaly- why my eyebrows looked thin & uneven!
Went in for a facial and came out with messed up eye brows. I felt her tweesing my brows, I'm thinking she's cleaning them up. Now, there's a difference between cleaning them up and actually going into the brow shape and getting hairs there. Now the lady was good at the facial part, that I felt she atleast deserved a tip on. Only check or cash was accepted as a tip though. I had to run to the local gas station to get cash, I really didn't notice until I got into my car in the natural sunlight. At this point, I'm pretty livid.I go back in to Spa 51 and let them know about the situation. I was told "sorry" and that they could offer me a discount on my next service with them. I'm not interested in a discount on the next trip because there wasn't going to be one. The Manager actualy told me she didn't see anything wrong with them. That floored me, either she thinks that I'm stupid or she's blind, there's no way of fixing them unless they have some magical device that puts hair back. By the way I wouldn't dare let them touch the other side in fear of them really botching up the job . She also stated that they didn't charge me for my brows either. OK, if I would've be charged for this job (which I didn't request) I would refuse to pay because it was horribly done. The manager then said she could talk to the lady that did the facial...for what? What kind of resolution would that have given me? Nothing. I left, really upset at the lack there of customer service. I went back in, manager was gone, I talked to the other front lady person and asked who was the owner. I was given a card with a name "Shelly" on it.
My daughter called Spa 51 for a quick hair treatment and the stylist, Michelle, quoted her $20. She went straight there and after the treatment the stylist told the receptionist, Brette, to charge my daughter $15. Brette told my daughter that the treatment was $40 and that is what she would have to pay. My daughter said that she didn't have $40 and she was then asked by Brette and the owner, Shelley, "how much have you got?". She told them $30 and they said "we'll take that". My daughter returned home in tears and my wife called the spa and spoke to the stylist who said that she would take care of it. My wife then received a call back from Shelley, the owner, who was very abusive and told my wife that she would not refund my daughter's $10. My wife then went up to the spa to take care of the issue and when she got there she found that the stylist had been sent home and the owner had locked the door and was stood behind the counter, laughing, saying "she's not getting her $10 back". This is hardly the way to run a business and is a very childish way to act after bullying my daughter out of her money. The price quoted by the stylist should be honored by the spa. The treatment she received was not done properly anyway and made no difference to my daughter's hair. Stay away from Spa 51 - they are VERY unprofessional.
