        National Trail Motel is family-owned and operated right here in Markleysburg, PA. Since purchased 30+ years ago, we’ve treated every customer like they were a part of our family. Our rooms are on the small side, but they have all of the basic essentials, and come with a personal touch. Most importantly our rooms are CLEAN! Luella and Terry have recenlty taken over the family business from their parents and are currently doing some renovations. We are located 5-15 minutes of all local attractions in the Laurel Mountains, including but not limited to, Laurel Caverns, Nemacolin Woodlands, Fort Necessity, Braddocks Grave, Ohiopyle, Yough River, Roaring Knob Speedway, Nemacolin Shooting Academy, Kentuck Knob, and many more.         Just like home

        I work out of state so am consiststly in hotel rooms, I have got to say that the Natural Trail Motel made me feel as comfortable as home. The beds are extremely comfortable, the rooms have basically a suite set up that other chains will charge over 300% more. The owner stayed up late just to get me booked it, and is ready to take care of any problems that might arise. The place is in great shape and it is clear that the owners take a lot of pride in this establishment.

        I will definitely recommend and return.
