The Hartson-Kennedy Cabinet Top Company produces cabinet blanks and custom fabric and laminate counter tops for homes and businesses. Since its founding in 1948, the company s business has expanded from its home site in Marion, Ind., to other cities in Indiana, Mississippi, Georgia, California and Arizona. In 1994, Hartson-Kennedy added its Red Bluff, Calif., plant, where it started producing its Cerata hard surface line. Because of its expansions, Hartson-Kennedy has become one of the largest manufacturers of countertop products in the world. Its customers include such building material giants as Lowe s, 84 Lumber, Endicott Lumber and Home Depot. Its distributors include Babcock Lumber, Cabinet Supplier, Inc., Creative Countertops & Cabinets, Inc., Curtis Lumber Co, Inc. and Vanguard Countertops, Inc., among others. Among its suppliers are Georgia Pacific Lumber, Pionite Laminates and Weyerhauser Lumber. Hartson-Kennedy s corporate headquarters are in Marion, Ind.
