Metro Atl. Floors
4757 Canton Rd Ste 231, Marietta, GA 30066
I signed up with MetroATL little over a year ago for laying hardwood floors throughout 2 floors of my house. The sales process was nice and the representative was responsive and pleasant. After we selected the wood and discussed and negotiated the total price, the guys came out and installed – they moved the furniture and put them back. Their people were well behaved and did not cause any issues during the install. The job was closed and we were satisfied and even recommended a friend to MetroATL.
In about 8-9 months after the install, we noticed some creaks at a few places in the house. As the warranty was for 1 year we contacted MetroATL to send someone to review and suggest how to fix them. After several messages and phone calls, the sales person suggested that we try a technique which might stop the creaks – that is to rub in Talcum Powder in and around the creaks. The sales person came and actually spent couple of hours spreading the powder and rubbing it in. He suggested that we repeat the same where the noise is loud. So we tried it ourselves and repeated the powder technique 2-3 times. After waiting for a week or so we did not notice much improvement so we tried to call them back.
For the last six weeks or so we have tried to call them and left text and voice messages but to no avail. I did not expect this behavior from the company, specially after we had a good experience during the sales and install process and even recommended a friend who also signed them up for a job.
Hope their management reviews the situation.
Joel Negron and his company did the installation of hardwood floors for our home. He did not do the proper moisture tests nor did he correct the sub-floor issues prior to laying the wood floors. As a result, our floors are not what they should be. He lost a lawsuit, but refuses to pay the judgment.
