Moody Aldrich Partners, LLC ( MAP ) is an independent, privately-owned investment firm founded in 1988 by William Moody and Amory Aldrich. Significant minority interests are held by Jeremy Grantham and Eyk Van Otterloo, founders of Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co. ( GMO ). The firm manages public and private equity investment strategies for large investors through separate accounts and a Limited Partnership. In March 2010, MAP announced its formal entry into the alternative strategy seeding business to complement the firm's long-only equity strategies. Christopher Kelley, William Moody and Eli Kent lead MAP Harvest Fund management team whose mission is to identify, incubate, grow and harvest top alternative investment strategies/firms. Our business is distinguished by an entrepreneurial culture, deep expertise in hedge funds and private equity, and a spirit of partnership. The Fund seeks to partner with newly established firms with pedigreed teams, demonstrable expertise and capabilities to build a business.
