Dental Examination
Examinations help us to simplify treatment and protect you along the way from harsher issues. We invite you to schedule an appointment today if you haven't seen a dentist in over six months. Dr. Bartholomew recommends visiting us twice a year for routine oral exams. Some patients with more severe cases of gum disease or other health issues affecting oral health should visit more frequently.
X-rays
Digital radiography (digital x-ray) is the latest technology used to take dental x-rays. This technique uses an electronic sensor (instead of x-ray film) that captures and stores the digital image on a computer. This image can be instantly viewed and enlarged helping the dentist and dental hygienist detect problems easier. Digital x-rays reduce radiation up to 90% compared to the already low exposure of traditional dental x-rays.
Oral Cancer Screening
During bi-annual check-ups, the dentist and hygienist will thoroughly look for changes and lesions in the mouth, but a dedicated comprehensive oral cancer screening should be performed at least once each year.

Dr. Bartholomew took the time to listen to my concerns and decipher what I really wanted. He looked at pictures of when I used to have real teeth and custom made my dentures to look natural. I am extemely pleased with his work and caring attitude. He and his staff are very professional and caring.
