Located in Manhattan, Kan., the Department of Grain Science & Industry operates under the Kansas State University. Founded in 1910, it offers a range of undergraduate, graduate, certificate and distance learning programs in food science education. The department s graduate program includes classes in the areas of grain storage, handling, processing and utilization, as well as cereal chemistry.
