Before I came to Dr. Rob I had visited another chiropractor before Dr. Rob. I was suffering from migraines every day for months before coming to Dr. Rob. The other chiropractor made me full sick and broken, but Dr. Rob made me full hopeful. After only a few sessions of adjustments and homework, I was relived completely of my pain. I am so thankful for the treatment I’ve gotten at Bates Chiropractic.

With the utmost respect ,I can only say that Dr. Bates is a man of great achievement .Single handedly , he curs and /or successfully treats people for everything from the smallest , irk some subluxations to seriously restricting injuries . Simultaneously, he inspires patients towards positive radiant mental and physical health. Manhattan Beach is lucky to have such a great chiropractor with outstanding integrity, kindness and character .Thanks to Dr. Bates (and Kelly!), I’ve pulled through many a scans injuries…properly and with a positive frame of mind! After 6months of ignoring my back neck injuries found Dr. Bates and his staff .Now I am back to my crazy dance classes gardening;an ever going to learn how to surf.

One month ago, after making plans for surgery on a badly herniated disc in my lower back, I decide to give chiropractic treatment a try, On recommendations of many middle aged athletes, I brought my injuries to Dr. Bates, without expecting much help with such an obviously damaged herniation. After complete my 12th treatment I am very optimistic and relieved to have at least 50% relief of symptoms (extreme pain) and an positive that I can vacation on funds meant for surgery.

Initially I was very nervous to have adjustments & had no idea of all the benefits chiropractic could provide! Not only I immediately felt like my spine & posture have been moved back into alignment but in everything Ido throughout the day,I see a marked improvement in my attention to my sitting / standing posture.

My lower back pain and tightness of my neck & shoulders has greatly improved with my visits use of the traction wobble chair!

It all started on 11.23.08,CVS had a health fair. I did several tests. This lady did a couple of squeeze press on my back neck , found a problem , an existing one .( I believed her , she didn’t know me or anything about me). I have had a back problem for over 2yrs. Any way cut a long story short.I was referred to Dr. Bates (a very great chiropractic). I can honestly say I have been helped. My first session was very successful. I slept like a baby, I had a wonderful bowel movement (I suffer from a bad case of constipation for years).

After a mountain bike accident and landing on my head, my arms both went numb from the shoulder down. The doctors afterseveral tests and scans said my only option was to operate and fuse the bones in my neck together. I refused surgery so after much debate they finally said they would agree to cortisone shots in my neck every six months, again I refused that option .As a last resort they agreed to allow me to have chiropractic care and physical therapy but did not recommend it and had very little confidence that it would work .That was 12years ago and I feel great . Chiropractic care saved me.
