Mary Poppins Chimney Service

This is the only chimney service company I will ever use. A neighbor had a bad experience with a company that does big advertising in the area. Additionally, when I first moved to the area, I had a few different chimney cleaning and repairing companies out & they tried to tell me that I needed big and expensive repairs performed on my chimney flue. John is just not like that. You get honest opinions and advice. For that fact alone, I don't shop around anymore for chimney service.

MARY POPPINS CHIMNEY in Manchester, CT is licensed/insured- BUT NOT CERTIFIED FOR CHIMNEY CLEANINGS; They spend less than 1 hour cleaning and do not use any equipment that the CERTIFIED chimney cleaning companies will use. We then had a chimney fire (4) months after MARY POPPINS CHIMNEY cleaned our fireplace - the fire dept. and poice dept. questioned how well it was cleaned since fire was due to build up in chimney - we told them house is 6 years old and chimney cleaned 4 months prior; the fire dept/police said, WE DON'T THINK THEY CLEANED THE TOP AT ALL - When we called Mary Poppins the next day, we were told to wait (5) days for them to come re-clean- CALL NAYAUG CHIMNEY in Glastonbury - they are great - same prices and CERTIFIED - don't fall for Mary Poppins coupons/low prices.



Pros: PRICE only - what you get is what you pay for-



Cons: not certified, incorrect tools/not enough work done - RUDE female staff
