Fine Eyes Eyewear

I visited, for the first time, today Fine Eyes in Ridgeland on W. Jackson Street with my daughter to look for eye glass rims. Upon entering this store, somehow the door remained opened unnoticed by us (since we don't have eyes in the back of our heads). The owner/manager of the store proceeded to comment, and I quote: "Excuse me maam let me shut this door, apparently some people were raised in a barn!" Ofcourse hearing this, we immediately turned to notice (from his glaring) that he was referring to us. I immediately apologized and stated that we were completely unaware of the door being left open, or having come back open, for which I received no comment, just more glaring. I then said, "and I can assure you neither of us were raised in a barn!" At that point my daughter,spun around and said, let's leave Mom, I refuse to give this man any of my business with such a rude attitude about something we were completely innocent in seeing happen. We left the store immediately, continuing to receive glares from this man. Oh, and let me mention, this happened in front of other customers he was assisting in the store. We certainly hope they left as well upon being witnesses to such crudeness and immaturity as a business owner in that shopping complex in Ridgeland. We certainly will never be back and will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and Chambers in surrounding areas. I encourage you not to do business with this place because clearly if this is all that it takes to upset this person, I can only imagine what one would have to endure if you had an issue with a purchase from him. He's a middle aged man with a bowl cut hairstyle with baldness on top, redish/blonde color, and definitely has a mean glare. Please consider yourself warned of what lurks inside this establishment. Not professional at all.

Stay Away!! My Mother and I have NEVER received such insults simply because the door popped back open after we entered this business. He hurled insults at us in front of customers and stated that "apparently SOME people were raised in a BARN!" He has no idea who we are or who we know, and I promise you, this will be taken to the better business bureau and the local chamber of commerce. Needless to say, we immediately left and will be taking our business elsewhere!! I suggest you do the same!! That is unless you enjoy be insulted!! This business does NOT even deserve One star rating!
