Founded in 1961 by Robert D. Hughes, Clifty Engineering & Tool provides vast machine and service abilities. The company is a full-service tool and die shop that has the ability to manage every type of tooling project from progressive to transfer dies that include special machines and reverse engineering. The projects it specializes in are progressive dies, transfer dies and special machines. It also offers CNC machining, as well as two- and three-dimensional computer-aided design. Clifty Engineering & Tool maintains a 60,000 square foot facility in Madison, Ind. The company employs approximately 100 people.
