Madison Muffler & Auto Repair

My muffler was making a slight rattle noise. They gave me options and honest opinions of different brands. The issue was a baffle, but was causing no harm. They said I could leave it alone for now if I preferred and by the time it gets bad enough where it needs replacing, the cost will most likely go down! It’s a Ford Fusion with only 40,000 miles. Then I asked how much did I owe them and they said nothing! I wanted to pay them for their honesty but they said not necessary. I snuck a little tip to them though. Most places would not have been nearly as honest and most definitely would have sold me a new part. I am promoting them to everyone I know now. Amazing experience. Thanks, Madison Muffler!! Being honest brings in more business in the long run, I’m happy they understand this.

Very honest never felt taken when I've taken my van their.

Went in earlier this week for a gasket replacement. Was referred by Goodyear in Troy and was told this place is the best of the best. my car was repaired very fast and the cost was so reasonable. Would definitely go again for exhaust needs. Thanks again!

We thought the muffler went out on my 2001 minivan. But when they got it up on the rack at Madison Muffler we discovered that the van had been vandlized while parked at a CVS store parking lot in Detroit. The exhaust pipe had been cut and the catalytic converter and O2 sensor were stolen! The guys at Madison got everything put back together with the correct direct fit converter and new oxygen sensor, and Dave even replaced the muffler at no extra charge when he discover that it had a leak! They do good work at a fair price and the service was completed in just a few hours. I would highly recommend this shop!

First came here w/ a muffler problem. Dave & the guys gave me inexpensive, same-day service. Couple months later, had electrical problems, another shop told me my battery was fine, charged me an arm & a leg for new belts, & said I need a new water pump. Went to big store for new battery (mine was fried!), then came to Madison Muffler for water pump, & Dave said it was fine (after double-checking it!). Asked him to put new terminals on my new battery, which he did quick & inexpensive (I was ready to spend big $, but no need!). Came back a week later w/belt noise (on my new belts!) which they simply tightened quickly & didnt even charge me! Also gave me same great service for brake-work. A good mechanic is worth their weight in gold & these guys are platinum! Lifetime customer. I now tell everyone to go there.

These guys are A+, the dealer wanted $1300 to fix my exhaust. Steve and the guys at Madison Muffler saved me over $1200 by replacing a broken pipe! WITH a warranty!! A+++

I took my 07 Titan in to Madison Muffler to have the phalnge and last part of the exhaust repaired. Dave was honest, thorough and very inexpensive. He didn't try to sell me parts or labor I didn't require. I would definitely refer friends and family to him. He actually welded my parts. Most places would not take the time to put in the extra labor.
